ON-LINE LECTURES IN MICROBIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY

Welcome to our audio/video site. Here you will find more than eighty lectures on medical microbiology and immunology given to second year medical students at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

2009

The 2009 videos can be seen here. They are loaded a few days after the lectures are given during the fall semester.

Lectures are available as a slideshow, mp3 audio-only files and mp4 video files that are suitable for download to iPods

PLEASE NOTE: mpeg4 files require QuickTime or iTunes from Apple

Animations have been removed from the slideshows

To go to a video or audio file, click on the link above. You will see Microbiology followed by a list of topics. Click on the small right-pointing gray arrow to the left of the topic (e.g. Immunology). A list of lectures with the dates and times they were given should drop down. Click on the lecture title. You will then be offered the options (on the right) of viewing a slide show with audio or down-loading an audio only (mp3) or audio video (mpeg4) file.

2007

This year there are lectures as an audio-video slideshow. There are also downloadable mp3 audio files.

To access these files, please go here

Please note: Animated PowerPoint slides in the Adobe Flash presentations constantly repeat their animations. Until we can solve this problem, we have added a "Pause Slide" button so that the viewer can stop the animation. On the video list, click on the right pointing arrow for the section that you want. The page will flick upwards. Click on the right pointing arrow against the various sections again and a video list for that section should appear.
