A 45-year-old woman returning from a 14 year stay as a missionary in Viet Nam presented with elevated anesthetic plaques on her forearms.  There was some depigmentation present.  Below is a micrograph of a biopsy of one of the plaques.

 

What is the MOST likely diagnosis?
1. Tuberculoid leprosy
2. Lepromatous leprosy
